Flip Skateboards was started in England by Jeremy Fox and Ian Deacon as a re-branding of Bash, a division of Fox's Death Box Skateboards. In 1993, Death Box and Flip merged with the plan to eventually move the company to the USA. In 1993, Fox, Deacon, Tom Penny, Geoff Rowley, Rune Glifberg and Andy Scott moved the brand to Huntington Beach, CA.
